STUDENT SATISFACTON SURVEY

STUDENT SATISFACTON SURVEY

As per the format available on the NAAC website and adapting it to the needs and conditions of our University, a questionnaire for Student Satisfaction Survey has been prepared. The students of Semester two of the academic session 2018-20 of all Departments were asked to respond. An overall analysis of the response given by the students reveals that a majority of them are satisfied with the educational environment and the teaching methods of the teachers. Negative responses were rare and more than 95% of students in each Department have given quite optimistic and encouraging evaluation. Their answers underline that the strongest aspect of the teaching environment of our University is the healthy teacher-student relationship where regular interaction, formal and informal counseling, personal mentoring have played immense role. The survey also found that they were satisfied with the University’s efforts towards the overall personality development of the students through extra and co-curricular activities, competitions, sports and cultural engagements. The students have also offered pertinent suggestions, like further addition of vocational courses, need for more faculty teachers, encouragement to student exchange programmes, etc.
