Eligibility Criteria
A candidate possessing the second class Bachelor degree of minimum three year duration in any discipline (Science, Management and Engineering) with Mathematics at the 10+2 level shall be eligible for admission in the 1st Semester of MCA Programme. Students in the final year of undergraduate programme may be apply for entrance test subject to the condition of processing evidence of required qualification if selected.
Mode of Selection
Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the Entrance Test conducted by University or AIMCET. The state reservation policy will be followed. The Entrance Test shall be conducted by an admission committee to be notified by the Vice Chancellor. The entrance test shall be a written examination of 2 hours duration of 100 marks. The syllabus and pattern of question shall be given in admission test brochure .The syllabus shall be made up of different components taken from degree syllabus:
- Score of Entrance Test - 80
- Score of Interview - 20
Guidelines for Examination
That to be admitted to MCA semester examination a candidates must have -
- Completed a regular course of study in University in the subject in which he/she wishes to be examined.
- Attended at least 75% of the lectures delivered and practical held and has been registered in the University as a student.
That at the end of each semester an examination shall be conducted by the University on the following pattern.
Theory Paper: In each theory paper there shall be a University examination for 75 marks of 3 hours duration and 25 marks shall be assigned to sessional work as per the course curriculum.
Practical Papers: In each practical paper there shall be a University examination for 50 marks of 2 hours duration and 25 marks shall be assigned to sessional work as per the course curriculum.
Sessional Works: Sessional work of 25 marks shall be distributed as under.
